Facilitation Type: STRATEGIC PLANNING

A division of a major energy services business needed to develop a clear and cohesive plan. A 3-day session with the management team resulted in a complete strategic plan complete with mission, vision, goals, objectives and priority strategies with clear timelines and accountability.

Facilitation Type: BOARD RETREATS & MEETINGS

A federal agency spearheading an effort for broad-based collaboration needed to not only get the effort successfully launched, but also navigate the variations in organizational culture among the members of the public-private coalition. I worked with project sponsors to provide them perspective on transformational change. In two facilitated sessions, we then approved the charter and role for the Steering Council, as well as identified first-year priorities, deliverables, and accountability.

Facilitation Type: FAMILY BUSINESS COUNCILS & RETREATS and     ISSUE PROCESSING

The management team of a family-owned enterprise needed to surface - and deal with - internal senior team concerns and issues. In a one-day session, we identified and explored their issues, drawing on organizational life cycle, family business systems, organizational change and team development concepts. By the end of the session, the group had developed and agreed to group behavior norms designed to develop greater trust and collaboration among senior team members.
